i am ALIVE!

I'm here, and here is really really big. The apartment is big. The mountains are big. The great plains are big. The Wal-Mart is big. The Elk are big. The Walgreens are big.

I have to start unpacking, but my place is so big and my mess so spread out it really doesn't look that bad, compared to how it was in Casablanca. Everything I own is currently on the floor or on the bed, yet the dogs have enough space to run around. They love it. Especially the yard.

Wow I'm tired. Steph left, so now I'm all alone! Sadness. =o( But! Before I get depressed, I need to clean up a bit, unpack a bit, take a nap, and figure out how to buy some food. This move completely broke me...but I'm here!

Oh, Casablanca. Here's the hilarious thing, Scotty: What's the one thing you would never want to do to yourself if you were an apartment complex with us as your tenants? The answer is: use our apartment to show to prospective renters. And that is what they are doing tomorrow.
I'm debating whether I should just take Layla on a little trip over to Grace's and disappear, or if I should stick around and see the look on the people's faces when they see our mess.

Glad you got there safe. I took a nap and dreamt that Ginger was romping around and I actually woke up from it because it was so real. I was sad to see it wasn't true.

Peace out, man.

Aw, I miss you guys. It's so quiet...except when the dogs see one of the neighbors cats. Then it's kinda crazy. ;)

I can't believe they are showing our house. That is crazy. You know what's sad? This place is almost cleaner than casablanca even with my stuff on the floor. I'm impressed.

Nevermind. Aisha just pooped on the carpet. Gotta go.

Re: so exciting!

Heh, it's very pink. Since the place is so big I'm not sure that I want to 1) buy the paint and 2) put the time and effort into painting it. Also onces I get all of my stuff up, a lot of the walls will be covered. And I'll probably buy some 'tapestry' type stuffs to hang on the walls. Since it's brick and hard floor, it's very echoy (getting better now that I have stuff in here), and I want to cover teh walls anyways to absorb some more sound. A dog bark in here can make a man go deaf!

Glad to know you made it safely! What time did you guys get there? Did you drive all the way to Fort Collins on Saturday or did you end up waiting till Sunday afternoon? I'll bet you're so tired!!!

We got as far as BURLINGTON, CO that night. We were tired, we stayed in a Chinese run "Motor Inn." Oh that is an entry in and of itself. Then it took us 2 and a half hours, or so, to get to Fort Collins the next morning. I was tired, but I went to bed at like 11:30 last night and woke up at 9:30, so I feel much better now.

I think I'm going to go take a walk with the dogs through my neighborhood. It's pretty upper-class. Many million-dollar houses. I'll call you some evening when I think you may be home and tell you about teh trip.

well good, it sounds like you made it pretty far. I'm sure the dogs would LOVE a walk. Poor things. :-) You should def call me some time and give me the scoop.

I like 93.3. 99.9 is another option.

Thanks Jocy! And, erm...it is hot here in colorado. My computer says 95. But, the funny thing is that the humidity is 15% and the 'wind chill' is 91. I love it. =P
